President-elect Workbook

The secret to success as a club president is to adequately prepare in the months (if not years) prior to taking office. Just ask those who have served as a Rotary club president, if they had to do it over again, would they start earlier in their preparation. The test will be when, at the end of the Rotary year, you look back; will you feel confident that you did all you could to make your year a success? You’ve only got one chance to get ready, don’t delay. Now is the time to start!

For many years I served as trainer for Rotary District 6840 and as a committee member of Ole Man River Multi-District PETS. During most of those years I was also the presenter of the Club Administration materials at the Presidents-Elect Training Seminar. Here is a step by step workbook I created to assist presidents-elect smoothly transition from president-elect to president by July 1.
